OUR SDWAN OFFERINg
OUR solutions are a blend of products and technologies that enable you with a SD-WAN network with exceptional resilience, unmatched deployment flexibility, and effortless ease of use.
Why SDWAN 2.0?
Overcoming limitations of traditional SD-WAN through seamless, multi-path connectivity without disruptions.
the smooth operator of wan
Enhance connection stability with WAN smoothing. Reliable, packet-distributed connectivity for critical applications.
Our technology is different
True connection by combining all available WAN links into one faster, more reliable virtual connection that is securely filtered, logged, and routed through our datacentre.
The era of sdwan 2.0
Seamless Multi-Path Bonding for Uninterrupted Connectivity
Traditional SD-WAN focuses on optimising traffic across multiple WAN links by directing it through the most efficient path. One stream of traffic typically can only use one path at a time. You can balance traffic over multiple links, have failover etc., with traditional SD-WAN, but a single stream of traffic will always traverse one link at a time.
This is a problem when packet loss or an outage hits. Moving the traffic over to the second link causes a session reset / packet loss / downtime.
Smoothest WAN you have seen
LIKE RAID for your network—boosting performance and dependability through aggregated links
Smoothing enhances connection stability by distributing packets across multiple links, helping to prevent packet loss without adding latency, though it does require significant bandwidth overhead.
This approach is perfect for environments where seamless, reliable connectivity is essential, such as video conferencing, VoIP, and cloud applications.
technology that works
continuous uptime and higher throughput
Our solution takes connectivity a step further by not only routing but also bonding multiple connections. We combine bandwidth from all available WAN links in real-time, establishing a single, faster, and more dependable virtual connection between your site and our data center. Once at our data center, traffic is carefully filtered, logged, and then routed according to your configuration, either out to the Internet or onward to your hosted services.

The solution can be configured to fail-over to a secondary core in Durban.
If no core is available, the device can be setup to allow specific IP Addresses/Ports/Applications to have direct breakout from the device’s WAN. connections
Our units are provided with small omnidirectional antennas, which are suitable for the majority of deployments. In addition to this, we have a range of external antennas (costing separately to our appliance) which can be linked to the unit. These units integrate dual LTE antennas for two modems, GPS and Wi-Fi – dramatically improving signal strength and coverage.
Our solution is customisable – so we can design a solution that is appropriate to your site requirements. Our default offering supports two Active LTE Modems + 1 x Ethernet port (which can be connected to Fibre or Microwave). It is possible to add additional Ethernet ports + LTE modems to the solution if needed.
BC Technologies provides our SD-WAN as a managed service.
